Epic liminal space apartment

Dear diary, my plans are not going as intended because when I invite my bumble matches over for some penis-in-vagina-antics in my liminal space backrooms style apartment they tell me it’s a psych ward and start looking for an exit (funfact: there’s only one and I have the key).

Mom always thought I would be a doctor by now. But at least she visits.

  1. Nicest backroom I’ve ever seen. I bet your Skibidi Toilet spits water up your butt after you feed it too. Here in America we just toss our mentally ill out onto the streets and our Skibid toilets don’t appreciate our clogged shits so they don’t bless us with their spurts. Europeans have all the nice things.

There might be a nice lass somewhere around there. You could always you take the route of Schizo Harry and scream at her door until she comes out. (Women love a man with that kind of confidence.) When the guards try to get you to stop you’ll know that you’re generating the kind of bad boy energy that will win her heart forever.

Say hello to your mom for me!

  2. In the U.S. these places are all jammed, full of people wandering around in hospital gowns that have the strings removed so that they don’t hurt themselves with the strings; no regular clothing allowed. You are stuck in the regular hospital for days before admission, waiting for a space to open up. You run into people you know from real life and it is a little awkward. If you are very lucky and have good insurance you end up in a suburban bin; in the state facilities you get the companionship of very scary oversized steroid-stuffed men who want to beat you or worse. Really it is mostly the privileged who get treated in these places; for most people wandering the streets in rags is the prescribed cure. What is up with the empty halls where you are? Is that for real? Is everyone in the Netherlands sane? Did all the crazy people emigrate? Fortunately Mother Nature likes crazy people so she creates more with genetic shuffling otherwise we would all be self-satisfied midwits. My relative was asked the usual admission question “do you think you are smarter than other people?”; then there was a pause and the nurse bethought herself and said “never mind, you don’t have to answer that one.” It is much better to not be binned but it is often a sign of more neurons rather than fewer; the neurons just need to be soothed a bit.

  3. Sorry to hear this. Veganism’s bad for your mental health over time. All life feeds on life. Anyway hope you feel better soon.

    • I would recommend adding meat, dairy and eggs to your diet. Kissinger ate meat 3 times a day and made it to 99.

      • Kissinger made it to 100 (not 99) with his brain mostly intact, because he’s an Ashkenazi Jew. That’s just their thing.

Tibetans manage to breathe thin air with little oxygen, Inuit manage to survive off a diet of fish and seal blubber, Kenyans and Ethiopians manage to run marathons, Polynesians manage to survive canoe journeys that take basically forever and Ashkenazi Jews manage to run their family dynasty until age 112.

        It’s not a meat thing, it’s a gene thing.

But I don’t have to make it to 100.

If I live to be 100 or if I live to be 79, the outcome is the same: I die.

It’s like your doctor telling you “hey, I can pull your rotten tooth next week, either Saturday or Friday”.

Do you really care that much, whether it happens on Saturday or on Friday?

I don’t. It happens either way.

And if they somehow invented anti-aging technology, I could still die in a tsunami/airplane accident/earthquake/meteor impact.

The grim reaper is coming one way or another.

  4. Hope you get better soon.

Remember what you said in a previous post about nicotine being an excellent anti-psychotic. Niacin seems to be really good for that purpose as well (see Abram Hoffer’s research).

Hopefully you can get your sleep sorted. Magnesium glycinate and other supplements like inositol should help. I spent time in a psychiatric hospital in 2019 for OCD and social anxiety and while there had some of the worst insomnia in my life because every hour during the night a nurse opens the door to your room and shines a torch on your bed to make sure you’re still alive. Fucking nightmare.

But apart from that it was actually pretty good fun. Sitting on the couches and talking to the other patients on my ward in the evenings while eating sandwiches and chocolate (whenever someone was being discharged from the hospital they would buy a tub of sweets) was the highlight. Lots of interesting characters. One guy was a professor at a prestigious university, another was a member of a prominent political party, another guy was a barrister/solicitor, another worked in banking.

There was also another really interesting guy who was always wearing a suit. Not entirely sure what his background was, but I’m pretty sure he was being held there against his will.

Another highlight was my weekly CBT sessions with a young medical school student doing her internship in psychiatry, she was blonde and HAWT.

Also there were other fun activities like pool tournaments, quizzes, bingo, card games and cooking classes. And a daily walk in a park right beside the hospital.

There were daily lectures in the lecture hall/theatre, one day it was a dietitian giving a talk, I asked her a question about phytic acid but she had never even heard of it, WTF?

Perhaps the saddest part was seeing all the young emaciated anorexia patients. Also the locked secure ward where the seriously ill patients were kept.

  5. There should be some local women there, they might give themselves to you simply for listening to their thoughts and life stories.

  6. Dear Keykeeper, sounds like a inflamation in your left back brain causing youre micro tubules creating a disharmonic quatum state witch tends to fire up the wrong neurons, its all electric.
Try grounding yourself for a few days
Sounds you have a great mom btw
    Get well soon

  7. I second that, don’t take mirtazapine lol.

Fancy “game room”, the glass-brick wall illuminated by the vending machine, great picture.

Continuously wishing you a stay as pleasant as possible, given the obvious.

  8. It’s very unusual that Rintrah is able to update his blog while being institutionalized. Of course I am not aware of how institutions work in the Netherlands, but usually they take your phone away, and all outside communication with the world is heavily restricted and closely monitored.

    • I’m more than willing to believe that Rintrah has had a breakdown. Once that is accepted, it is not reasonable to expect that the person will give accurate information about the details. In my observation, they don’t. That doesn’t matter; the important thing is to pray for Rintrah to heal.

      • Over here they just let you have your phone. If any of you don’t believe me, there’s not really anything I can bother doing right now to prove it to you.

        • You have to expect some initial doubt from Americans because Big Bird is right, they would NEVER allow anyone to have a smart phone in a locked facility in the U.S.. Or even a flip phone. They don’t even let you keep your own clothing. You’d never be able to take photos, that’s for sure. Every moment is accounted for, and there would be no blogging going on, just rhythmic dancing and Uno games and lots of powerful meds to settle the person down as fast as possible. This is universal here.

  9. If there are females in your section find one with BPD and she will ride you until it breaks you… Just be ready for all the head games and the swings from crazy adoration to ignoring you exist… But it will be the best ride of your life… It is sad that BPD girls have that going for them but can’t stop being mentally abusive.
