The channel basically has twenty years worth of videos I saved. I can’t access them.
To have that channel removed, is like having to rediscover the whole Internet again.

It’s basically like being kicked off the Internet.
In a sense, it is like a part of you died and now you start over.

OK, looking up their 2021 email they did offer me an appeal but I didn’t bother.

The content is secondary at best. It’s almost all about presentation.

LOL. Sadly also very true, most of this “content” is just there for people to fill empty hours with. I assume they watch it on one screen, then they work as an HR coordinator on the other screen, and then maybe they have some porn playing on their third monitor. That way they can optimally distract themselves and cruise through the day without ever having to engage their minds. Otherwise I cannot understand why someone would watch such garbage.
I also assume they bias the algorithm to keep the talented / interesting people away, and steer views towards members of their clique.

You’re better off leaving YouTube, though. That’s really best for hosting family friendly non-confrontational content. You might have better luck with Rumble, or creating your own video hosting platform. Always back up everything, especially when using free platforms, because they can take everything away in the blink of an eye.
