I think you can kind of see the decline of Western society illustrated by reminiscing on the fact that when 16 year old teenager Brenda Ann Spencer opened fire on a kindergarten opposite to her home, she explained that she doesn’t like mondays to a reporter on the phone and it became interpreted as a kind of profound existential act worthy of artistic commemoration.
The tender mercy of God ensured that only two adults died, the children were only injured. God really tries to help you all every day, but you have to be free.
But today, if something like this happened, it would barely make the news. Just look at the whole “femcel” shooter incident. A teenage girl with a boyfriend is not a “femcel”. But if you make any sort of comment about the nightmare we inhabit as corporeal creatures, society’s response is now “Yeah yeah we get it, you’re not getting laid, just put the gun down”.
With the way things are currently progressing, I’m honestly expecting to wake up in a few days to news of Elon Musk carrying out a chainsaw massacre while high on ketamine at the Department of Education offices, livestreamed on X, with half the American population cheering him on in response as it happens.

Donald Trump kicked Volodymyr Zelensky out of the White House on Friday after an explosive meeting between the two presidents.
Zelensky was seen rushing out of the executive residence and ducking into a vehicle waiting for him before rushing out. A joint press conference between both leaders scheduled for later in the day was canceled.
Shortly after the explosive meeting, Trump said Zelensky is “not ready for Peace if America is involved” in negotiations to end the war in Ukraine in a Truth Social post.
“We had a very meaningful meeting in the White House today. Much was learned that could never be understood without conversation under such fire and pressure,” Trump began.
“It’s amazing what comes out through emotion, and I have determined that President Zelensky is not ready for Peace if America is involved, because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations,” he continued.
Lol, Trump works for communists. Now it is clear that he is working for the russians and is now the public enemy No. 1 in the US. Musk and Trump are ruining the US empire at a fast pace and I really like it.
Civil War will come and Trump will be hanged in the coming next four years. What a bitter end.

Zelensky fucked up terribly at this summit by trying to debate JD Vance.
Oh no, no, no.
Vance may be a hillbilly by birth but he’s way more intelligent than Z and taking no shit.
And then Zelensky made a snide remark about how the USA feels protected by the Atlantic Ocean, which really made Trump mad.
Those may have been the triggers, but what was ultimately going on is that they loathe him because of his corruption and all those pointless deaths; if they didn’t hate him already they would not have reacted that way.
Vance whiffed on Zelensky’s biggest insult. He said JD didn’t know what was happening in the war because he never went to ukraine. What???
JD should have said the US gov’t obviously knows what’s happening. Instead he mumbled something about reading news. That was a miss.
It went off the rails when Zelensky threatened to start WWIII. Or at least that’s how it was interpreted. Trump lost his temper on that one.
Another day, another post where I have no idea what you’re talking about, nor the reaction of the general public.
In other news I ate in a restaurant for the first time in years today. It was very strange and uncomfortable. I’m used to a diet of lentils/brown rice/olive oil/vegetables, always heavily spiced and sometimes with sardines in it. I had no idea how to order it or what the hell any of it was, and it didn’t feel good to my body at all. It was a really strange experience.
Eating at restaurants is a dreadful experience, you wait around forever just to be served some overpriced slop more often than not. I think many people only eat at restaurants so they can feel like they’re being served.
