It took zero effort, but I had to put this song together with this video.
If you missed out on teenage romance then it was already over for you before it began.

What about a teenage STD?
Does that count?
That’s a really depressing and self limiting worldview.
I’ve listened to it on repeat about 10 times. For some reason it brings me straight back into a 90s mindset from my teenage years, maybe it’s the youth of the people or the setting but it’s a complete nostalgia trip and I relate to them. I actually haven’t felt like that for years like being back to a place I can relate to, interestingly I seem totally disconnected from the modern world.
Whats even worse even though the children in it are experiencing a brutal reality I wonder about modern Germany the children are gone, if there are any children they don’t have this freedom and despite it all at the start in the club they look healthy/optimistic before the drugs consume them. Nevertheless there is the spark of hope and vitality there. The tragedy now is that even that spark seems extinguished and we never truly appreciated it.

That’s not true. You can even experience it as old fart with an arabic crack whore. I know this. Believe me.
First of all, I enjoyed the combination of the music and video.
However, I must express my disappointment at the lack of diversity. All those young people portrayed in the video are of European ancestry. This doesn’t represent the multicultural utopia found in modern Western cities.
Where are the gangs of military aged Somalian and Eritrean men, loitering in the train station, striking terror in the hearts of the natives, threatening them with knives, pushing them down the subway stairs?
Finally, I also must note the lack of representation from members of the transgender community.
In summary, I rate this video 3 stars out of 5.
In all seriousness though, a moment of silence for all autists and truecels who will never get to experience that life, for reasons beyond their control.

Happy New Year.
My 83 year old mother has a 89 year old boyfriend. For the past four years they have been blissful together, and have had an exceedingly vibrant sex life (alas, I had to hear about this). Now that they are both feeble and sick his daughters are keeping them apart permanently, since they have always resented my mother; really it is tragic but he is too weak to do anything about it. They call one another every day from their rehab facilities, miles apart (his daughters made sure he was put in one other than hers), and express the deep love they feel for each other. His daughters took away his cell phone but he has her number memorized so he can call my mom from his rehab room; they can’t take that phone away.
I’m not going to say it was over for me before it began but it was much worse than it should have been, strangely.
Fairly certain my youth was much worse than yours with your fond memories.
In the last week I experienced crazy human cruelty but also incredible animal kindness! A grateful wild bird dropped off a gift at my feet. No question about it, and no, it wasn’t a crow.
What’s with your fixation on teenage romance?
Don’t worry about teenage love – it sounds like overthinking and worrying about things that don’t really need to matter in the grand scheme of things.
Teenage love basically always ends in tragedy anyway, whether you get the girl or not, so it’s overrated.
If a man/woman wants love, they can always go to a bar and hit on the opposite sex. If they’re like everyone else, then they’ll probably get a bunch of knockbacks, but sooner or later they’ll land one.
Or at least that’s what people used to do.
These days people probably just get a phone and a dating app.
Problem solved. Simples. Don’t overthink it.

It’s a dream, a wonderful dream even, but apparently, according to The Rules of Ontological Existence, it’s never meant to last. The memory merely teases and taunts and haunts.
(Sometimes for a lifetime)
Whether the memory of an ill-fated dream which can occasionally offer subjective emotional solace in the face of an indifferent universe is better than squaring off against the indifferent universe head-on….
I leave for others to decide.
I don’t think I’ve posted this one before. The bass guitar is sick:
The Fall Of The Angry Clowns

You’re all I never wanted
You’re all I never wanted
I never want to need it
You’re all I never wanted
I’m all you never needed
You never need to want it
You’re all I never wanted
You’re all I never wanted
Clocks are ticking faster
Molecules move slower
Cars are driving backwards
It’s not unlike falling upwards
Strange feeling growing older
Drugs are taking over
Explosions in the distance
My crown of flies is tilted
Strange feeling growing older
Forget them, all the bastards
Clocks are ticking faster
It’s not unlike falling upwards
There’s a clearing in the clouds
No more dreams of angry clowns
The sea began to boil
The days of chewing foil will end
You’re all I ever wanted
You’re all I ever wanted
You’re all I ever wanted
You’re all I ever wanted
“Angry Clowns”
Hmmmm
Who am I thinking of right now?
Women with bodies that nice aren’t permitted to appear in movies any more.
Isn’t this charming?
The bloodthirsty massacre of October 7th reenacted yesterday on the streets of Belgium, with Europeans cheering them on.
