The president of the United States repeats Russian propaganda that suggests Zelensky has a 4% approval rating. That’s the situation we’re living in. And so personally, I struggle to imagine giving my life on the fields in a war. We shouldn’t live in a world where the lives of thousands of people are decided by men like this.
What happens on the ground in Ukraine, is almost entirely decided by a handful of men with an IQ of around 105, who don’t see bodies, don’t see blood, don’t smell smoke and don’t hear explosions. They see faces in suits, numbers on screens and pie charts on a security briefing they insist must be one page long, with mostly graphs.

In Washington D. C. A meeting is held.
“Security briefing? Again? I had a security briefing yesterday. It’s time for executive time now.”
“Sir this is really urgent. There are Russian troops entering Estonia.”
“Ukraine? Again. You’re bothering me with that war again?”
“No sir, this is about Estonia.”
“Where is Estonia, you can’t expect me to know every province in Ukraine.”

What are they doing? They’re hitting “like”, on some post pointing out the video of a Russian boy being lynched is 5 years old and was actually recorded in Russia, it already went viral long ago.
But it’s too late. The President of the United States has already seen it. He won’t see the post your men are liking. It’s not going viral. “Put your phones down guys, he’s not going to see it. Get your guns ready. They’re coming our way.”

Ok the problem with this is that Zelenski is no longer legally the President, his term expired Mayish last year. He has been governing by marshal law decrees covering 90 days. Once the last one expire issued during his term, any one issued after has on authority to it. That is why Trump calls him a dictator and Russia refuses to talk to him, he has no legal authority. He just went to the parliament to extend his term, they said NO.

If this was a Hearts of Iron game (I’ve never actually played it) here’s how I would run Europe.
1. Institute the WEF European Green New Deal New World Order for security and environmentalist reasons. Europe doesn’t officially have to be one country, but it should act like it.
2. State mandated veganism, this is more land efficient and cheaper. Nationalize farms that resist this patriotic necessity.
3. Heavily tax car ownership and fossil fuels so as to encourage biking and public transportation. This will make people healthier and more fit for war as-well as making the state wealthier and more powerful. This will also help preserve fossil fuels for use by the military.
4. Physical education will be of paramount importance in grade school, schools will be proto-boot camps where children are indoctrinated into Green Imperialism.
4. Cut refugees off of welfare and employ them in the new state farms or conscript them into the military. Encourage as many refugees and immigrants to come to Europe as you can so as to bulk up Europe’s forces. Refugees and immigrants will be accepted from any country, including the U.S. Immigrants can also be employed in constructing new apartment complexes to house the newcomers.
5. Immediately seize of all Russian assets within European territory. Europe will be less reliant on fossil fuels due to the Green New Deal so if Russia wants to hike up the price of fuel exports that’s fine. The USSR was still trading with Nazi Germany right before the German invasion so likely Russia won’t even want to end the exportation of fossil fuels to Europe in response. Putin might even lose popularity with the oligarchs if his policies affect their bottom line.
6. Any country that has U.S troops pull out will have all U.S assets in that country nationalized. If this triggers Trump to pull out of more countries that will only lead to more assets for Europe. America has shown that it is not interested in protecting Europe so this will only be a gain.
7. Rapidly expand the military and the creation of nuclear bombs. If Russia invades Europe, go full Samson option and nuke both Russia and the United States. Make it clear you will end fucking world if Europe’s enemies don’t play nice.
8. Swallow up any Third World country that America abandons. Europe will be the New World Police so as to secure access to bodies and resources. This will be of benefit to these Third World countries as-well, as the European Empire will provide medical care and education in return for labor and resources.

I’m GenX. When I was in college, college students didn’t own cars. Well, a few rare ones did, and if there were a road trip somewhere it was in their car, which was always a beater, with six people squished in it, and everyone chipped in a few bucks for the gas. Now every college student I know owns a car; if you visit a college campus there are parking lots everywhere for students’ cars; they are jammed full; they stretch for miles. And they aren’t cheap cars; they are costly and fairly new. So I truly doubt that boomers are worse than young people about walking.
And the store-bought fake meat is toxic waste; look at the ingredients; Gardein soup contains titanium dioxide; the brand is owned by Conagra. I wrote to them to complain and they ignored me of course (I think the law has just changed since their newest version doesn’t have it, but it still has loads of emulsifiers and gums, which change your gut bacteria). Make your own veggie burgers out of lentils or tofu and don’t poison yourself. Dr. Praeger’s and Tofurky are okay; they are old time brands.
I went to college in Dallas, which is entirely designed around car use, but I never had a car myself though obviously most people I knew did. Usually this meant just getting a ride with a friend or a roommate when I needed to go somewhere, but on occasion it also meant walking two hours along a highway with no sidewalk, just to get groceries or whatever. I actually think cars are pretty cool, I just wish it was even possible at all to walk or bike in certain American cities. I think that’s where a large part of the problem comes from too.
The college I attended when I first started was not near anything; it was originally an ag college so it was surrounded by farmland. You needed a car if you wanted to go anywhere off campus. But students still didn’t have cars in the early 80s, even so. The need for a car did not mean that people had a car, since students didn’t have money for one. They mostly still don’t have the money for one, in reality, but they take out loans, since they can’t picture living like people did not very long ago.

The lesson Europe never learned for long was to “stay away from Russia.”
