It’s admittedly pretty hilarious that Bill Gates apparently tried to slip antibiotics in his wife’s drink because he thought he gave her an STD. But what really disturbs me about this isn’t that “rich men are evil”, you can find that take everywhere. No, it’s that apparently, once you have everything a man could desire, you want to fuck teenage girls.

Doesn’t that suggest to you there’s something very cursed about human biology and sex in general? Women only start to yearn for men’s desire once they lose it, which tends to happen in their thirties. Until that time they experience it as a burden. Some eat healthy and smear a thousand creams on every piece of skin and manage to delay the inevitable into their forties. But men’s desire is for youth. A fifty year old man is apparently not attracted to fifty year old women, he just puts up with them. If given the opportunity, he wants a teenager. He’ll ruin his life for it, he’ll give his wife an STD for it.

I kind of get the transhumanists, who say we shouldn’t put up with the bad deal human biology gave us. The thing is, they’re just not accomplishing anything, life expectancy in the Netherlands is actually declining and people are just getting sicker in general. Rewiring the human body to maintain permanent youthfulness seems highly unlikely to happen. We’re stuck in these decaying vessels.

The anarcho-primitivist critique insofar as there is one, is that we’re just not supposed to turn into obese fiftysomething year old men like Bill Gates, who have to ask Jeffrey Epstein to set them up with some Russian hookers.

You’re supposed to die young, but nature was robbed of all the tools it uses to make us die young. And so we turn into ugly fat balding men whose breath smells of bacterially fermented coffee, whose only true desire after hoarding the world’s wealth is to screw a teenager.

Among chimpanzees it’s very rare for the ladies to grow old, it suggests good health, so the males are actually attracted to elderly chimpanzee ladies. They prefer experience over innocence. But as humans, we’re cursed.

The human sex drive is for all practical purposes a curse. In the best case scenario, it turns an average low status white male into the slave of one particular woman, some bald dude who has to sit in an office for 8 hours a day in exchange for 10 minutes of sex every week. The worst case scenario is something I don’t have to explain to you, it’s rape and pedophilia.

But you’re not supposed to say it out loud. You’re supposed to pretend that this whole way of life of ours is actually working, that it’s normal that we have all these retirement homes where we store this vast number of people in decaying bodies with numerous health conditions. You’re supposed to pretend that it’s normal we have all these middle-aged men who have to fight against their own desires, lest they infect their wives with an STD.

I simply want to live in the sort of society that is compatible with human instincts. In our society, as Freud explained, you’re always suppressing your instincts, which is a recipe for madness. I can’t walk to the train station, without the scent of various animal corpses covered in spices blown out onto the streets from numerous fastfood shops, trying to lure people in to eat food that makes them obese.

Modernity just doesn’t work.
